The Julia McNeill Senior Center opened its doors on September 22, 2007, with a spectacular Grand Opening. The facility boasts an 11,646 sq. ft. building, with new amenities including a lounge room with plasma television, a library/quiet room, and 3,500 additional square feet of restrooms, offices, and meeting room space. The state-of-the-art facility is fully ADA-compliant. Since completion, residents have continued to discover the benefits that this facility has to offer.
Membership Required
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants visiting the Julia McNeill Senior Center, all seniors are required to present their membership card to enter the facility. Renewals and new members are all required to present the required documentation for the application process. For documents required please see the following pages. Senior Center Membership and Dial-A-Ride Card
Senior Membership Card expires after one year of activation.
Register at the Julia McNeill Senior Center, Monday through Friday 9am-2pm
BALDWIN PARK RESIDENTS DIAL-A-RIDE
- Participants must be 60+ years of age or Disabled by a Physician
- Provide a current CA ID, and a current utility bill (light, gas, or trash) or social security statement with name and current address (P.O. BOX IS NOT ACCEPTED)

- Participants must be 55+ years of age

RENEWAL
If you are renewing your membership application, please bring all the requirements (Resident or Non-Resident) above and pay the amount related to your application.
LOST/REPLACEMENT CARD
If you lose your Senior Membership card, you can replace it at the Julia McNeill Senior Center for an additional fee.

TRIPS & TOURS
Qualifications:
Must be 55 years of age or older, or be married to someone 55 years of age or older, and provide a senior membership card at the time you register for a trip. Must have a valid ID during the trip.
Registration:
Baldwin Park Senior Residents may register the same week of registration.
Non-Resident Seniors may register one week after the first day of open registration.
Non-Seniors, anyone under the age of 55, may register during the same week of the trip. Registration is available Monday through Friday, from 8am-3pm at the Julia McNeill Senior Center. All trips depart from the Julia McNeill Senior Center. All trips are subject to change.
Cancellations and Refunds:
There are no refunds unless trip is cancelled by the City. Participants cannot exchange or transfer their tickets with other participants. A minimum amount of tickets must be sold or the trip may be cancelled.
Rules and Regulations:
All participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time and 10 minutes before the designated time of departure from the location. All participants are responsible to bring proper identification while on the trip. The Julia McNeill Senior Center is not responsible for items lost, forgotten or stolen while on the trip. Please follow all instructions given by staff and abide by rules of excursion location. All participants who do not comply with regulations may be subject to suspension. We will be adhering to LA County Health Department guidelines.
Activity Level
Each trip will have a corresponding activity level listed stating the level of physical activity that is expected during the trip. The activity levels are as followed:
Activity Level All (A) - Easy with light, leisurely walking
Activity Level Moderate (M) - Continuous walking. which may include occasional standing.
Activity Level Intense (I) - Continuous walking that may include stairs, some difficult terrain and standing.
In order to receive special services and wheelchair accessibility, you must be registered and request it 30 days prior to the trip as mandated by transportation company. See Front Counter to notify staff of the request needed.
