Chief’s Message
Welcome to the Baldwin Park Police Department website. My name is Lili Hadsell and it is my honor to serve as the Chief of Police for the City of Baldwin Park. The residents of Baldwin Park can be very proud of this Department and the men and women who commit themselves to providing for the safety of our community day in and day out. We are proud to serve the residents of Baldwin Park.
The mission of the men and women of the Baldwin Park Police Department is to prevent/reduce crime and to improve the quality of life in the City of Baldwin Park. Our Department is responsible for patrolling neighborhoods, responding to calls for service, investigating crimes, arresting offenders and working closely with the community to identify and solve neighborhood problems. We also provide educational and outreach programs to assist the residents and youth of our community. Our ongoing commitment is to provide the highest quality, courteous and professional service through innovative policing strategies.
The Department has a proven record of providing professional and effective police service to the community. We subscribe to the values of service, integrity, and excellence. The department takes pride in these ideals and is guided by them in serving the residents of Baldwin Park.
Our priority is not just writing a crime report after a crime has occurred; it is working with the community to prevent crime and solve community problems. I invite you to become partners with us in making our neighborhoods a safer place to live as our community continues to move forward.
